Two very simple yet important updates were silently slipped in by Twitter last week which are set to impact overall personal tweeting experience.

Managing notifications is now easier with the access given in the main tab. Another optional update that is a savior for personal profiles is customizing your notifications. You can now limit the notification to people who you follow.

​The major cheer for all twitterati is QUALITY FILTER! Now, you can filter lower-quality content, including duplicate Tweets or content that appears to be automated, from your notifications and other parts of your Twitter experience.
​When turned on, the Quality Filter can improve the quality of Tweets you see by using a variety of signals, such as account holder type and behavior.​
