Turning their sails in the right direction according to the winds, Instagram has recently updated their algorithm to give more power to their website interface. The website now has a notification tab and Discover People option. The Notifications can help keep track of all that is happening on the User’s profile, hence making website useful for tracking. The Discover People option will help the user find more people in their common domains according to their recent follows and likes.

In addition to website updates, the Phone UI also provides you the option to Turn On Notifications for a particular profile for posts from that profile to stand out in your feed by showing up and above other posts.
