What does an aperture in a camera lens do ?
While using a camera, adjusting the aperture is of huge importance. Aperture is basically a small set of blades in the lens, which controls the amount of light that enters a camera. The blades form an octagonal shape that can be either widened or compressed to a small hole, depending upon the kind of pictures to be shot. When there is a need for more light to be present, then the aperture is widened and when a dark shot needs to be taken then the aperture is closed down. Depending upon that the settings of the aperture, a picture becomes sharp or blurry.
