ABOUT THE COMPANY


PMFME, which stands for “Prime Minister Micro Food Processing Enterprises,” is a component of the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan launched by the Indian Central Government in 2020. Under PMFME scheme, the government has allocated INR 10,000 crore to support unorganized micro food processing units across the country.

The CHALLENGE


Despite the opportunities, PMFME scheme faced a significant challenge of low query volume and insufficient enrolments/registrations from beneficiaries including FPOs, SHGs, Cooperatives, and existing microenterprises. Upon recognizing the challenges, Team WSC diligently analysed the situation and initiated a thorough and comprehensive study of the client, delving into the intricacies of their needs, preferences, and barriers.
