7 Morning Habits to increase your productivity
If you are ever confused and are not able to determine whether your way of doing things is right or wrong, then the simplest way to access is to compare yourself with the nature. The foremost aspects to absorb from nature are to learn various things it does in the morning. Morning is that phase of the day which when set right, will pave its ways for the rest of the day. Therefore by following a few morning habits, you can definitely increase your productivity!
Following are some of the morning habits which would not only help increase your productivity but will make you feel more relaxed
1. Wake up early as the sun!
Want to shine like the sun? The wake up as early! Waking up early, sets the entire day right, if you start your day on time you would be able to give sufficient time to each activity. Everything will eventually fall in place. Once you start your day early, you would eventually be able to wind up faster and go to bed early which is exactly how nature works.
2. A full glass of water, drink up!
If you look in depth that once you wake up in the morning, your body has actually starved as long as 8-10 hours at night. Hence in order to give a sudden burst of energy and attentiveness, it is best to drink a big glass of water. This would help cleanse the body and purify the system, which improves the all over body function, including boosting productivity.
3. Make your bed to make your day!
Setting up for work from your warm and cosy bed can be a bit of a challenge which we have to undergo every day. It is very tempting to get in your bed once again after you are awake. Therefore the best way to fight this temptation is to make your bed, this would not only give you a sense of accomplishment of your first task been done but also would help you to get going.
4. Healthy breakfast, Hearty Day!
Weather it is a day off or a rush hour at work, make it a habit to have a healthy breakfast. Never deprive your body from a good & filling first meal, as it forms the basis of your energy cycle for all daily chores!
5. Hardest goal first, Done & Done!
It is said that the body is at its best in the morning as it has had a full doze of rest; therefore if you have something challenging on your plate, then the best time to do it is in the morning. The sense of it being finished it will provide you with the motivation.
6. Exercise, Exercise, Exercise!
Make it a habit to work out in the morning. It’s not necessary to hit the gym first thing in the morning, however any physical activity such as a brisk walk to your office or basic daily household chores are equally good. This would help you with a burst of energy and keep you fresh all day long!
7. Set a timer, Set your day!
Plan on using a diary or journal to structure your day in the morning itself. If you are one of those who are always loaded with work, then it’s a good idea to write a dairy or schedule your activities. A prepared timetable would help you to be more disciplined.
